St. Andrew's Episcopal Church offers Sunday School from September through June for all students Preschool through High School. Classes meet in the Parish Hall, which is the large brick building to the left of the church.
The 2013-2014 Sunday School Year began on Sunday, September 15th.
However, because St. Andrew's is a growing parish, new students are encouraged to enter Sunday School throughout the school year. Please be assured that your child will be made welcome at any time! You are welcome to stay with your child to ease the transition.
We offer a weekday or Saturday orientation, which is a great way for you and your child to learn more about our program and to see our Sunday School space firsthand. For more information contact us at Obscureinfo
Children are always welcome at St. Andrew's worship services. Young children--and even infants--can absorb a great deal from the sights, sounds, and smells of worship. Consider sitting right up front with a small child so that they can see what is happening. The side chapel is also an ideal place for younger children because it is less crowded and close to the front.
The Snuggery. If you need to leave during the service, please feel free to use the adjacent soundproof room we call "the Snuggery," with soft carpeting, comfortable chairs, age-appropriate toys, books, and a changing table. You will be able to continue to hear the service while in the Snuggery through the parish sound system.
Nursery Care. Nursery care (infant-age 3) is provided by competent staff from 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall all months of the year. Please fill in a Nursery Registration Form the first time you come, then simply sign your child in and out each week. Children will be released only to the adult to signed them in.
Teachers are on site in Parish Hall before 9:45 a.m. so that families may drop children off and walk over to the church for the 10:00 a.m. service. Children are walked to the church by their teachers after the sermon to join their families for Communion. Read more.
Sunday School begins in the Parish Hall at this time so that junior and high school students from both the 8:00 a.m. service and the 10:00 a.m. service can meet together in one place. Read more.
